Supra Skytops

November 14th, 2008 by Snkrman

Now, these Supra Skytops are a bit special!

Great colouways, but maybe a little bit Carlas Fandango for some peeps out there…but we think they’ll look sweet with good denim.

The Skytops do come in more subtle colourways, but these are much more interesting.

They cost around $100 or £70

Macbeth - Eliot

September 26th, 2008 by Snkrman

Macbeth are pretty new on the sneaker scene, those who read Sneaker Freaker will have seen their ad campaigns in the magazine. For those who don’t know they are a Australian brand which produce sneakers, Tee’s, hoodies and general apparel. They also have an extended family of sponsored Bands, Skate & Surf pro’s.

Their sneaker designs are pretty retro, they have simple low profile skate/surf look similar to Converse, Vans & PF Flyer’s.

We’ve picked out the Eliot to show you.

DVS x HUF Purple Safari colourway

September 23rd, 2008 by Snkrman

Your wish is our command!

We received a very polite comment on the previous DVS x HUF post requesting images of the Purple Safari colourways and here they are.

Cracking colourways, particulairly lovin the grey safari heel patch and the purple suede toebox/eyestay area on the Huf 5 Low.

We love a collab! DVS x HUF

September 21st, 2008 by Snkrman

It’s True…We love collabs here at ToeBox. They have totally invigorated the market. Now sneakers are being designs by artists and not designers. Don’t get us wrong, we’ve got nothing against designers but the brand managers hold them on a short leash and their creativity is muted. Having artists involved means there’s much more flexibility and better, more creative designs are hitting our streets!

Skate brand DVS have let HUF (San Francisco) loose to design a couple of new models. The Huf 5 Runner & Huf 5 Low.

They’re not your typical skate shoe, but they do have mass a appeal look and DVS will benefit from that.

Etnies Dasit or Adiskate?

September 21st, 2008 by Snkrman

What came first?..was it the Adiskate or the Etnies Dasit?

Mmmm, we don’t know and we’ll probably never know the truth, so here the Dasit spec…

The Etnies Dasit punches well above its weight with classic vulcanised construction and all the technical features you’d expect from an A-list skate shoe. Leather upper with Etnies E logo, perforated toecap, padded tongue and a STI foam footbed, so very good for skating!
